Review: Mary Kay Timewise Matte-Wear Liquid Foundation
Good morning ladies and gents ;) You all know how I hate my oily skin. That is why I am really having a hard time choosing the best liquid foundation for me. I know how popular dewy look is nowadays but sadly, I think It's not for me. So I am very fortunate that my friend introduced to me Mary Kay Timewise Matte-Wear Liquid Foundation.
Let's start the review :)
Price: ♥♥♥
It's 750pesos for 29ml and I've been using this for 1 year now. Because I tend to use different kinds of liquid foundation and I also use BB Creams. I use this for special occasions and events.
Packaging: ♥♥♥♥
It does have a box, but I didn't know where I put it. Maybe I threw it away. XD Anyhoo, the packaging is same as those with other creams and liquid foundations. It can get messy though if not properly closed. Maybe if this product is in a pump container, it will be more hygienic. The tube is somewhat beige in color and it's glittery. :)
Its Promise: ♥♥♥♥♥
I got myself Beige2 because it matches my skintone. On the back of the tube, it says " Combination to Oily Skin. Buildable coverage. Suitable for sensitive skin. Oil-free. Non-comedogenic. Smooth on foundation for a perfectly flawless, matte finish."
Swatches:
Personal Experience : ♥♥♥♥
Pros:
♥ True to its promise
♥ Gives a matte finish
♥ I didn't have breakouts
♥ No strong scent.
♥ Very Light
♥ Last a whole day. ( I use this with my Nichido Final Powder, which I'll be reviewing after this)
Cons:
♥ Very expensive for a 29ml product
♥ Tends to be cakey if applied more than 1 layer
♥ Packaging.. Shessh..
Will I repurchase? Maybe yes, maybe no. I'm thinking of getting Revlon or Mac. Let's see. :)
Will I recommend it? Absolutely! Especially for those people who have oily skin. This product is a Wow.
Ok, that's all for today. I have to sleep now. Because it's already 2:51AM ..

Coverage is nice. My skin is not soo white. Just ok. And it blended well with my skintone |
Oil test on a paper. Left for 30 mins. No signs of oil. But the product dried up. |
