Let's Uncover: Escala Tagaytay

 

Our Wedding Anniversary is a very much-awaited celebration in our married life.  Once a year we get to splurge a little and visit places we've never been. Our 5th year wedding anniversary is special because we get to spend it in one of our favorite places, Tagaytay. 

From the very first time that I saw Escala Tagaytay on Facebook, I fell in love with the place instantly and I focused my self that one day, we will have our staycation there. So a month before our anniversary, I booked a room for one night and two days. My cousin paid the 10% reservation fee as her Anniversary gift for us. 

Escala Tagaytay is well known for its picturesque infinity pool overlooking the gorgeous Taal Volcano. Believe me, I took gazillion photos of the infinity but pictures can't do justice on how beautiful the view in person.

Escala Tagaytay is not just beautiful in the outside but also inside. Some of you may know from my other blog and in my personal Instagram is that I am a sucker for beautiful interiors. You'll be in awe right when you step in their lobby.

We booked their deluxe room which is the cheapest out of all the rooms that they have. Though the rooms were not soundproofed, nonetheless we had a good night sleep.

Aside from coffee and tea, they also have complimentary fruits which we were so delighted with. 

We are also impressed with how clean their bathroom is even though it doesn't have a bathtub (hehe)

Escala Tagaytay is also a great place to dine in. Fortunately, when you stay in Escala, you get to experience their Breakfast Buffet for free (included in the accommodation).  Their wide buffet spread serves from bread to salads, to American and Filipino breakfast. 

Who wouldn't want to eat their first meal of the day in this magnificent view?

And what's a getaway without Instagrammable spots right? You don't have to leave Escala Tagaytay just to have those Instagram-worthy photos. I'll just leave here the photos that we took (taking turns and using the tripod)
