Review: Radiant and brightening moisturizing facial mask by Watsons

You know how much I love cheap thrills especially those things that are readily available in department stores, supermarkets or drugstores. And yes you got it right! I really love Watsons. My trip to the mall is not complete without a quick trip at Watsons.

For my review today, I will talk about the Radiant and brightening moisturizing facial mask by Watsons. This product caught my eye because it is pink and there are Korean Characters in it so I assumed that this item is Made in Korea.

Let's start:

Price: ♥♥♥♥♥

For 39 pesos or roughly $0.90, you will get a mask that contains 30ml of essence. And I am right, this mask is Made in Korea.

Product Information and it's promise:  ♥♥♥♥♥

Front :

The first line is written in Korean. Then it says " Radiant and Brightening moisturising facial mask by Watsons" And the catchy line below states the primary ingredients which are: Arbutin, Vitamin B3 and natural plant extract.

Back:

Product Description: "Watsons Radiant & Brightening Moisturising Facial Mask helps brighten your skin reduce the appearance of dark spots and pigmentation. It also helps improve your skin's moisture retention via accelerated hydration of the epidermis. In addition, the natural plant extract helps restore skin elasticity and reduce the appearance of fine lines. It leaves your skin moisturised, fair looking and more radiant. Use daily for 6 days (1 sheet/day) to help optimize the effect".

The direction of use is also illustrated in the back part, as well as the ingredients. But the Arbutin really caught my eyes because it has strong whitening properties that will help you lessen the appearance of pimples or acne scars.

Product Specifics:

As you can see on the photo above, the mask is overflowing with essence. It is indeed heavily soaked.
So this is my picture before putting on the mask. I cleaned my face with my favorite St. Ives Apricot Scrub then pat it dry. You can see some patches of redness all over my face because of my acne. And my pores are quite large because I have oily skin.

Personal Experience ♥♥♥:

The mask is quite thicker compared to the mask I've tried before and it is quite big for my face. See my upper lip is covered. teehee. So I have to wait for 20 minutes before removing the mask. I'm laughing my heart out because I look so weird. haha.

After 20 minutes, remove the mask then apply the remaining essence all over the face.
This is the picture after the mask. I didn't wash off the remaining essence because as per instruction there is no need.

My skin feels refreshed. But I think I need to do this everyday to see the optimum result.

Pros:

♥ Inexpensive
♥ True to its promise
♥ Available in Watsons
♥ Smell is nice
♥ My face feels so soft and smooth
♥ No breakouts
♥ My face looks radiant and bright
Cons:

♥ The effect is not long-lasting
♥ You have to use it for 6 consecutive days to see the difference.
♥ The mask doesn't fit well.
♥ Mask is thick.

Will I recommend it? Yes. It is a great product but you need to purchase 6 pieces thought.

Will I repurchase? Probably yes. But I will try the other variant first.
