Board Over Bored Cafe Experience
Every weekend, me and my friends, we're always having difficulties in looking for a place to hangout. Coffee shops and Cafe are our best bet. Somewhere we can bond and chat over a cup of frappe.
Luckily, I had a chance to spend a fun Sunday afternoon with my Pampanga Bloggers' Society family at Board over Bored Cafe in Angeles City. It is a Cafe with a different concept. Built out of a couple's passion and interest in Board Game themed Coffee Shops.
They have different varieties of Board games perfect for everyone. They even have a Card Against Humanity: Filipino version which I played together with the PBS Girls. We had a good laugh while playing the game.
Board over Bored Cafe is situated just beside the Sacred Heart Hospital in Angeles City.
It is a two-storey building along the Hi-way. The second floor is spacious, ideal for big families with kids. Board over Bored Cafe aims to promote quality time with friends and families.
Food:
They have a wide variety of shakes for you to sip while playing board games. They call their shakes "Forbidden Shakes".
Forbidden Fappes:
Price Range: Php125-Php150.
Sheriff of Nutella
White Myste-Oreo
Dark Myste-Oreo
Coup-fee
Creme Bremelee
Matcha
Vanilla Spyfall
Colt Espresso
Probably if you know me personally, you know that I chose the Matcha Forbidden Shake :)
Nacho Koro With Beff and Cheese - 95pesos
Carbonada - 130pesos
Binagoongan with Mangga - 150pesos
Bluffalo Wings 6 pcs: 180pesos
My First Fries - 90pesos
Verdict:
Place: the place is awesome, good ventilation, their decorations are superb and the 2nd level is my favorite good for large group of people.
Food: My favorite is My First Fries. The foods are quite salty, I hope they can re-assess their recipe. The shakes were super sweet, maybe they would be perfect if they tone down the sweetness
Price: 200pesos per head (50pesos is for Gaming and 150pesos that you can consume).
Overall: The place is great, they just need so minor improvements in terms of food.
