What Keeps Me Motivated?
The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. – Eleanor Roosevelt
It's the start of the week again. Mondays can be overwhelming, right? I know how it feels to drag yourself from your bed and go to work. I don't want to be a hypocrite, but I hate Mondays. I have to sleep in the afternoon and wake up at 8PM to get ready for work. Several friends were asking me why am I still working even though I don't really need it and why on a night shift. My answer? I need to work. For myself and my family.
I have so many dreams. I've started working at an early age, even while in college. From being a service crew in a popular fast food joint here in the Philippines, to being a call center agent, to a home based freelancer and now as an Administrative Assistant. I've always wanted to give my family a comfortable life.
So what keeps me motivated to work at night and travel for almost 2 hours?
My family and my dreams. We are currently planning to build our dream house by January 2016. And to buy our own car by the end of 1st quarter of 2016. We are also planning to travel more next year before having our baby.
Another thing that keeps me motivated is because I love what I am doing. I love everything about my work. The opportunities to grow and to climb a higher position. I always believe that if you are happy with what you're doing, you will succeed. There are times when I feel demotivated too. When times like this happen, I isolate myself in our bedroom, I pray. I breathe. I read motivational quotes then talk to my husband. He keeps me inspired and he always gives awesome advice. He always tells me to stick to my motivations.
So every time you feel demotivated, think of why you've started. Get up and stay inspired! :)

I really appreciate how hard working you are! I know this post is old, but it resonated with me.
You're so right, if you know what keeps you motivated, you'll be able to keep going! I hope you managed to do all you wanted to do in 2016.
Sibo.
